Nursery Prints
I was recently asked to design two prints for a lady at work. She is having a baby in October and she wanted to decorate her nursery in a pond theme so she wouldn't have to pick just turtles or ducks or frogs but use all of them. She looked for children themed pond scene prints to hang up in the nursery to help tie her other decor together but couldn't find anything she liked.
So she enlisted me and after asking her what kinds of animals she wanted in the prints, I drew up some sketches which she approved of. I decided to execute them using Adobe Illustrator CS4, hoping to get some more practice in with using Illustrator.
She was extremely pleased with the result, which made me pleased as well.
Enjoy your day!

From my Children's class
In all the crazy rush of things at the end of my CCAD career, I forgot to share with you one of my projects. For my Children's Illustration Market class, we had to write and illustrate our own children's book.
I wrote a story about a little girl and a raincloud befriending one another. I find it to be a little cheesy, but I enjoyed illustrating some of the scenes. ^_^

GOTTA CATCH 'EM ALL!
School is over. Four years of school. OVER.
Anyhow, towards the end of our school career, I and my classmates had to make business cards to promote ourselves and some mailers of our art work. We were all trading with one another, it kind of reminded me of Pokemon cards.
Here are a few of the business cards I collected from my peers.
These are some of the mailers/samples I was able to collect.
and one of them I framed. ^_^
and this is a doodle I did, to celebrate the end of my college career.
It was fun, I really enjoyed all of the talented people I was able to meet while going to CCAD. I can't wait to see their stuff out in the world. ^_^
