Wedding Poster
I was recently requested to make an interesting alternative yo a guestbook for a wedding. The bride wanted her and her husband-to-be represented in cartoon format, holding on to balloon strings. The balloons would be the thumbprints of her guests, along with their signature inside their print. I believe she got the idea from Pinterest. Well, since a picture's worth a thousand words, I'll show you some.
I'm not sure why some decided to go to the side instead of up, but oh well. ^_^

Designs for Onesies
The lady I designed the baby shower invitations for also asked me to create a few designs that her guests can use to iron on to onesies, an activity they are going to do at the shower is decorate onesies. So I'm showing you a few of the designs I did. Some have the baby's name added into the design, upon request of the client. They also requested that I do a mustache, a bow-tie, and a pair of suspenders. The father enjoys fishing, so that is why the rubber ducky is modified in the design. But I was given free rein on all the other designs, which I enjoyed. (did you notice the narwhal? ^_^)
The Batman one was done for a friend, she's the one who got me the job. I had to share it because it's BATMAN and the idea she had for it is cute. ^_^
Have a GREAT weekend! ^_^

I was recently asked to design some baby shower invitations, so here's what was made. I changed the info so no one's tempted to crash this sweet lady's baby shower. I know how you people are ... ^_^

Summer Drawing Prompt #1
I have about twenty or so first through fourth graders I entertain every Friday (when we don't have field trips) at the Child Care that I work for. So for the Summer I've been doing art/craft projects with them. One of the things I do with them every Friday is give them the choice of two drawing prompts. They must choose one and draw it in their sketchbooks. And since I couldn't let them have all the fun, I draw the drawing prompts too. ^_^
Drawing Prompts:
If I could build my dream house . . .
If I could have ANY pet, it would look like . . .

It was a fun exercise, and I colored it quickly in Photoshop. My dream house would be an awesome tree house and my pet a flying narwhal. Hopefully I'll have more fun little drawings like this for the rest of the Summer.
HAVE A GREAT WEEK!

Valentine's Cards
I work at a Child Care, where I and another teacher are in charge of thirty second through fourth grade boys and girls. We both are planning on getting all of our children Valentine Cards, so I designed two cards to come from me.
FOR THE GIRLS:
My sister inspired this one. I've come to like it a lot, even though there's SO MUCH PINK!
FOR THE BOYS:
Most of my boys are into Pokemon, but I know a few are into Star Wars too. So I opted for drawing Chewbacca, RD2D, and C3PO instead of Pikachu (because I like them better ^_^)
The following one was done for a few special ladies in my life to receive:
These diddlies were drawn in my sketchbook then colored in Photoshop CS4.
I hope your Valentine's Day goes well! ^_^
